In January 2022 Amanda moved to Jacksonville, FL and transitioned back to house call grooming.

House call grooming is where the groomer comes to your home where your dog feels the safest and grooms them inside your home. Your groomer brings all the necessary equipment with them except for the tub and asks only that you provide a sink or tub with a handheld sprayer to bathe your dog in and a small secure space to set up with limited distractions. Full cleanup will be provided before leaving.

In 2012 Amanda took her lifelong passion for dogs and turned it into a career by accepting a grooming internship at a local salon. Since then Amanda has taken many continuing education classes and studied extensively on her own time soaking up as much information as possible to provide the best service for her canine clients possible. Amanda serves one family at a time straight through to make your pups spa day as stress free as possible using luxury coat care products and providing every pup with a massage to promote circulation, and relaxation.

Amanda feels the best way to provide the best service to each pet and family is to be able to give them her undivided attention. In this effort Amanda decided that grooming one on one so she could focus completely on each pets needs. Amanda only takes 2-4 families per day depending on the size, number and condition of the dogs.

Amanda has specialized in special needs dogs. (Bite history, kicked out of other groomers, old dogs, dogs with health issues, and puppies). These pups will be evaluated on a case by case basis and a schedule to best serve your pups needs and to address and correct any behavioral issues may be required. These cases may also require more time each visit or possibly require more frequent short visits. The goal is to keep the pup as stress free as possible and make grooming a pleasant experience for them so they can learn to trust being groomed.

House call is not best for aggressive/territorial dogs and may not be suited to every dog or family though many love the personal attention and openess of house call.
